What can we say about Ria. This girl was everything I would ever want in a Briard for type, balance and movement. She was admired by many in the breed; both long standing experts, and newcomers alike. At home, she just loved everyone she met, and would lick them to death to show it!
We were overjoyed to be able to have another "litter" from Matt (Barzac), before he died. They say the
best things come in small packages, and we couldn't get better than Ria - and from a litter of 1.
With Best Puppy awards at Ch Shows (including at her very first show) and then winning a RCC at the tender age of 10 months,
her show career has been sparkling. To top this, the same month we took her to the French Nationale d'Elevage where she was assessed "Excellent" by
M. Jacoulot, won her Junior Fawn Bitch class, and then was awarded
BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW !!
She also passed her CANT (Certificat d'Aptitudes Naturelle Troupeau), sheep herding instinct test, the same weekend.
At the Briard Club Ch Show in December 06 Ria wins Best Junior, Bitch CC. Best Opp Sex and Res. Best in Show aged only 13 months!

She then spent 2 years at home growing her coat and waiting for her colour to return.

Ria wins her 2nd CC at Scottish Kennel Club - June 2009. This just 4 months after a litter!
A RCC at Birmingham Show May 2009
3rd CC and BOB at Windsor Show July 2009. Ria is now a Champion.
RIA IS TOP BITCH IN THE BREED FOR 2009.

HER DAUGHTER WINS BEST PUPPY
From her only litter so far, 2 daughters are already Champions, and another, Ella, living here with us,
is now being campaigned again following her own litter.
At the Briard Assocaition CH Show 2012, Ella wins the CC and BOS under Fr Specialist
Corinne de Broewer.
At the British Briard Club 2013 Ch Show, Ella wins the RCC (and highest placed UK bred briard) under French Specialist and All Rounder M. Jean Claude Larive.
